Raindance
The clouds are swollen with rain in the sky
Covering the blue with patches of grey
The sun hides just like a maiden too shy
Giving the stormy clouds the right of way
The clouds are swollen with rain in the sky
Covering the blue with patches of grey
The sun hides just like a maiden too shy
Giving the stormy clouds the right of way
My ship was lost in the sea of sorrow
Its masts broke into a million pieces
It took on water in the decks below
As its hull was pounded by the rough seas
The wind greeted me with a nice cool breeze
While the ocean wanted to say hello
The waves played a symphony with their sighs
Crashing against the rocky shores below
She displays her petals of purple hues
And undulates gently as the wind blows
She glistens in the morning with a pose
And her magnificent bloom always glows
The wind tenderly blows her sun-kissed skin
Mapping out her edges and perfect curves
All peaks and valleys and spaces between
With all the attention that she deserves
