Dunes

The wind tenderly blows her sun-kissed skin 
Mapping out her edges and perfect curves 
All peaks and valleys and spaces between 
With all the attention that she deserves 

The scorching sun shone high above the sky 
Watching jealously of the wind below 
All her ridges from way down to up high 
Every inch of her has a golden glow

The gentle breeze lingers, as does the sun 
Offering her everything she desires 
All her crevices and all of her sand
Nothing was neglected for her pleasures 

The wind and the sun show her affection 
All her beauty merits their attention
